When I bought my VW, it was because I got nothing but bad service from Nissan. I was promised better service by the VW service manager, but low and behold, it is no better.
I called due to a warning light coming on and off. I called on Monday to get my Alltrack in, and I was told the earliest we can get you in is on Wednesday. So, after booking the appointment, I was told by the service rep, that they are running 24-48 hours behind schedule, and they would probably get to my car on Thursday or Friday! How is that an opening on Wednesday?
Anyway, VW makes it virtually impossible to have a job and fitting in your services needed on their time schedule. Anyway, I searched the internet, and found a European mechanic that told me to bring my car in on Tuesday.
I cancelled my Wednesday - Friday appointment at the dealer, and I wont bother them again. Once you have bought their product, you are just another customer and will have to wait like everyone else.
- Getting a decent car at a decent price
- Getting serviced at the dealer is non existent
Preferred solution: Nothing
User's recommendation: If you choose to buy a VW, make sure you know of another mechanic because if you need service at VW, it’s like taking a chance at the lottery.

The vehicles are great, its the sheisty salesmen. They up sale you products with hidden verbiage small print loopholes.
When you try to utilize the extra things you paid for or is paying for ,you won't be able to all they do is try to squeeze more money out of you. Your paying extras for things you can't utilize or actually need to begin with. Like warranties and protection. Be very careful what you purchase aside from the initial vehicle.
Their all liars and con men ,trained to deceive and manipulate the unsuspecting consumer.

First of all I would like to say I have purchased 4 Volkswagens from this dealer, Dean Team at 15121 Manchester Road, Ballwin, Missouri, and several family members have purchased numerous cars as well. My current car is a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle.
While my car was under warranty I brought it to the service department with the same problem I am having now, the drivers window will not close the final 2 inches for a complete closure.Of course at that time they couldnt find a problem. I guess they thought I liked driving 45 minutes to be told no problem. Over the years the same problem would come and go. Now its back to happening most of the time, and since the car is not under warranty anymore I talked to the service person who talked to his manager and was told its to old for them to help monetarily with the repair.
Scott and Eric are these employees. Im a senior citizen that cant afford costly repairs but this must get fixed.
I was informed customer loyalty for the past 21 years should amount to something, they said sorry. Please help me understand why that your company doesnt appreciate customer loyalty and willing to help.
User's recommendation: After 21 years as a loyal customer will not purchase another car from them

Hello Volkswagen,
I am writing to make a complaint about my 2013 Volkswagen CC. I purchased this vehicle since 2015.
Ever since I purchased this vehicle several events have occurred to cause me to believe that someone has a duplicate key to my vehicle. I tested this theory several times where I have locked my vehicle and checked it several times to make sure that it was locked. When I returned to my vehicle, I have had items in vehicle that looks to be purposefully out of place not in the places where left it. Other things that had also happened is my car tires being tampered with and the air pressure being down after I have had full tire services, the service lights on my vehicle coming out when my vehicle has been fully services.
I took my vehicle to the Volkswagen dealership to have the locks chanced and still these occurrences are still happening. Last March in 2022, I finally paid off for my vehicle and it was fully serviced when it was tampered with causing me to take it in for a full engine service repair. Now, almost a year to the date I just had an oil chance and my vehicle serviced and yet the engine light is back on after someone has tampered with my vehicle. These occurrences have cost me thousands of dollar because I have to take my vehicle in to be serviced after it has been tampered with when it was already fully services.
I can not afford for this to keep happening because I have been taking very good care of this vehicle and for someone to access it when they feel like it because they have a duplicate key it very unfair and not right. I would like some kind of compensation or some assistance with these repairs that clearly is not of my fault.
Preferred solution: Full refund
