Volkswagen Of America - Check Ingenine

On September 10, 2015, I took my car to Volkswagen Downtown to have my check engine light check. I was taken care of by service advisor 5206 Danny Jose chavar. When the service was completed I picked up my car, and I was advised that the check engine light was on due to a faulty censor. Since about two months ago my check engine light came back on again. However, my car is no longer under warranty. I took it back to Volkswagen to have it re- checked and I was told that now I had to pay about 169.00 dollars. Why would I have to pay this money to have my car re-checked. When Volkswagen assured me that the only reason why the check engine light was on was due to faulty sensor. Unless Volkswagen and it's agents lied about my vehicle true condition. I am requesting for Volkswagen to have my car re-inspected for this issue. However, I do not want this services to be conducted by Volkswagen Downtown. Employees on this facility are rude and disrespectful. I would like to have this services done at Volkswagen Santa Monica. I just want my check engine light to be re-inspected and for Volkswagen to be honest with me and tell me what is really wrong with my vehicle. Unless Volkswagen Downtown sold me a lemon and they are trying to hide something from me. Please address this situation as I do not want to seek legal representation. Volkswagen Of America - Warranty Extension Call

I just spoke with someone from the warranty extension department and they were very rude and hung up on me while I was talking. I was told that the warranty on my vehicle has expired and when I just had my last service I spoke with someone about a warranty extension and was told that I was still covered for major repairs. Now I have no idea what is going on. This is unacceptable. I asked for a call back number so that I could check out what was going on and was told that they do not have one.
